Understanding Wick Tab Sizes

Base Diameter

The base diameter refers to the width of the metal base that anchors the wick to the bottom of the candle container.

• 15mm tabs are suitable for standard candle applications.
• 20mm tabs provide a larger surface area, allowing stronger adhesion when used with larger wick stickers.

Neck Height

The neck height determines the safety cut-off point as the candle burns.

• 3.8mm neck height – Standard safety cut-off
• 6.0mm neck height – Extra safety cut-off

A taller neck height allows the flame to stop earlier as it reaches the base of the container.

Hole Diameter

The hole diameter determines which wick thickness can fit through the tab.
